Design
2D drawings and 3D models that are ready to manufacture, whether we make the parts or your own supplier does.
2D
2D design
A drawing is the instruction a workshop builds from. If it is unclear, parts come back wrong. We produce clear, fully dimensioned technical drawings that leave nothing to guesswork.
- Manufacturing drawings with dimensions, tolerances, surface finish and material called out
- Assembly and general arrangement drawings with parts lists and balloon references
- Sections, details and exploded views wherever a feature needs explaining
- Flat patterns and DXF profiles ready to go straight onto the laser cutter
- Sketches, photos and old paper drawings redrawn as clean CAD files
- Revision control, so everyone works from the latest issue
DELIVERED AS DWG · DXF · PDF
3D
3D design
A 3D model lets you see, check and change a design before any metal is cut. Mistakes found on screen cost nothing to fix.
- 3D CAD models of single parts and complete assemblies
- Sheet metal design with bend radii, reliefs and flat patterns worked out
- Fit and clash checks so parts go together on the first build
- Design for manufacture: cutting, bending, welding and assembly in mind from the start
- Reverse engineering of existing parts from samples or worn components
- Realistic renders for presentations, approvals and brochures
DELIVERED AS STEP · NATIVE CAD · PDF

How a design project runs
Every project follows the same steps, with your sign-off before we move on.
- 01
Brief
What the part must do, where it goes, loads, materials and budget.
- 02
Concept
Sketches and options, so you can choose a direction early.
- 03
3D model
The chosen concept modelled in detail and checked for fit.
- 04
Review
Optional analysis in Ansys, then changes agreed with you.
- 05
Drawings and files
2D drawings, DXF and STEP files, ready for any supplier.
